This site describes my many varied interests. I hope to keep it up to date with things that are going on in my life. For friends and family, I created the “Family” section. I'm also starting to attract some clients for web development and GIS consulting so I have a section for that. Music and Birding have been the things that take up my spare time since I can remember so I'll be building those sections up extensively.

My new website is almost complete. I plan to update content to this main page approximately bi-weekly If there is one thing you should notice about my site its the color. Could you guess that my favorite color (if I actually have one) is purple. When I was younger, I worked at an auto paint store. I painted my bicycle “plum crazy” (which is a specific shade of purple).

I just finished a week long GIS teaching workshop. I'm involved in two GIS teaching programs through my job at the Appalachian Laboratory. More specifically this is through the lab's Environmental Science Education Program ALESE. I love teaching people about GIS but the workshops can be a little bit stressful sometimes. It's mostly fun.
